Fair Timing
Release time should be recorded the moment birds leave the loft, and landing time recorded the moment a bird returns to the loft and settles. Consistent, honest timing by the organiser is the foundation of every result on this platform.
Independent Verification
Where possible, tournaments are encouraged to have more than one witness confirm release and landing times, particularly for competitive rounds with prizes at stake.
Bird Welfare First
No result or record is worth risking a bird's health. Organisers are encouraged to check the weather guidance on this platform before setting release times, particularly in extreme heat, high humidity, or cold.
- Release Time
- The exact time at which the birds are set free from the loft to begin the flight. All duration calculations for that day start from this moment.
- Last Time (Cutoff)
- The latest time on a given day up to which a landing can still be recorded for that day's round. Landings after this time are not counted for that day.
- Landing Time
- The recorded time a bird returns and lands after its flight. The flight duration is calculated as landing time minus release time.
- Flight Duration
- The total time a bird remained continuously airborne during a single round, from release to landing.
- Baby Pigeon Category
- A separate category for young/inexperienced birds, tracked and ranked independently from the main adult category, since young birds typically have shorter, more variable endurance.
- Result After Day N
- The cumulative (overall) result combining every day of the tournament up to and including day N — distinct from that single day's individual total.
- 1v1 Match (VS)
- A standalone head-to-head format between exactly two players, with its own independent release time, cutoff time, and record — separate from multi-player tournament pages.
- Page Password
- An optional password set by a tournament organiser that restricts who can edit that specific tournament page, while keeping viewing open to everyone.
